You are eligible to make a claim under this
proposed settlement if you, or any natural
person claiming by, through or under you,
resided in a residential dwelling in the
“Evacuation Zone” and were physically
present in the residential dwelling on or after
3:00 p.m. on October 11, 2008 and evacuated
or sheltered-in-place due to the Alleged
Incident or you, and any natural person
claiming by, through or under you, resided
in a residential dwelling in the Evacuation
Zone, but were outside of the Evacuation
Zone on or after 3:00 p.m. on October 11,
2008 and were temporarily prevented from
returning to your residential dwelling due to
the Alleged Incident.
The “Evacuation Zone” is defined as follows:
The Evacuation Zone shall include all
households within the borough boundary
lines for the Boroughs of Petrolia, Fairview,
Karns Cit y and Bruin, Butler Count y,
Pennsylvania.
The Evacuation Zone shall also include,
which shall be inclusive of the abovereferenced Boroughs, those households
within the area in Butler County, Pennsylvania

roads and boundaries: From the southern
borough boundary line for Karns City south
on Highway 268 to Pine Road; east on Pine
