Notice is hereby given that the City of Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania, has passed an Ordinance to establish the City of Erie Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority (“Authority”) under the Pennsylvania Municipality Authorities Act,
53 Pa. C.S. 5601-5623 (“Act”) and that it intends to file Articles of Incorporation for the Authority on August 28, 2024. This Notice is published as required by Section 5603(b) of the Act. The purpose of the Authority is set forth in Article XVIII-C of Act 2 of 1971 (the “CRIZ Act”). The Authority shall have all of the powers granted in the CRIZ Act, as amended, and the Act, as amended. Said powers shall include but shall not be limited to acquiring, holding, constructing, improving, maintaining, owning, financing and leasing, either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, industrial, specialized or commercial development projects for purposes of administering, providing financing for and undertaking all other activities related to the City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) of the City of Erie established pursuant to the CRIZ Act.
